Practice Assistant Required

Salary in the range £26K - £30K dependent on experience

About us

Theatreplan is a world leading technical design consultancy, providing specialist advice in the creation of spaces where live performances take place, or where digital content is created or shown.

Our projects range from helping architects to create brand new venues, to undertaking complex technical upgrades for major spaces like Sydney Opera House or re-designing existing theatres in the UK and Europe. We also work on lecture halls, conference centres, arenas and virtual reality studios.

About you

We are looking for a talented practice assistant to join the operations team, providing administration and marketing support. You will be comfortable working on administrative tasks across the whole business and proactively assisting in running the company’s marketing and social media output. You may have previous experience in a similar role or be a recent graduate with suitable qualifications. As a small business, made up of three directors and 12 full time staff, we are looking for a bright, positive person to join the team, who can happily cope with these two distinct areas of work.

You will have excellent oral and written communication skills and be confident dealing with a wide variety of clients and industry partners. At the same time, you will have great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines, whilst remaining flexible, adaptable and responsive to the needs of the business.

Theatreplan operates a hybrid home/office model, working Tuesday -Thursday in central London and remotely Monday & Friday. Technology for home working is provided. Benefits include flexitime and a contributory pension scheme.
