Trinity College, Oxford

Theatreplan is appointed to work with ADAM Architecture and Bidwells on designing the first major construction project on Trinity College’s central Oxford site for over 50 years. The basement and ground floor levels of the new building will encompass key academic spaces such as a new 148 seat multi-purpose auditorium, music rooms and seminar spaces, along with, community space, a large multipurpose function room and an extension to the existing library.

Theatreplan is charged with providing both space planning and technical infrastructure services in RIBA Stage 3. The project requires a sensitive approach with an understanding of the significance of the surrounding heritage.
