When investment management company Winton Capital were looking to create a top-class lecture theatre at its London HQ, Theatreplan worked with Foster Wilson Size to create a state of the art facility to match their global requirements.

Although not faced with any budgetary constraints, the project timetable was extremely tight and the client required an extremely high quality specification room in an unfriendly basement space.

Working with FWS, we developed a room with curved backlit side walls, which provides a warm and luxurious environment. The room finishes and seating are of the highest quality, and the lighting, sound and communications infrastructure which includes a video wall, has been designed to enable the client to host a wide range of lectures, events and seminars.

The 120-seat lecture theatre offers a high degree of comfort and is designed to a high technical standard, which allows the company to host virtual conferences with its offices around the world.
