Battersea is Back
Battersea Arts Centre has risen from the ashes.

Battersea Arts Centre re-opens to reveal a stunning transformation, after disaster struck back in 2015, when a fire tore through the beloved arts building.
Alongside Haworth Tompkins Architects, Theatreplan was part of the team restoring the Grand Hall, ensuring that BAC remains a vital part of the London arts scene for many years to come.
Battersea Arts Centre first opened in 1974 in what was Battersea Town Hall. It has since become a key theatre player in London, and has presented iconic productions including work from Punchdrunk, Kombat Opera and the original London production of Jerry Springer: The Opera.
Theatreplan is thrilled to see Battersea burst back into life with its Phoenix Season.
