Anniek Wasser

Anniek is now a Senior Associate Architect at Theatreplan, having previously worked as part of the staff team. Prior to joining Theatreplan she gained ten years’ experience with AEDAS Arts Team (formerly RHWL Arts Team) which she joined in 2006, as part of graduate recruitment programme. She was awarded the RHWL Arts team bursary prize for continuing her studies and after completing her degree at South Bank University, she returned to the practice, becoming an Associate in 2014.

Anniek has previously focused on the design of buildings for the performing arts, including at the Victoria Palace Theatre; Watford Colosseum; Queens Theatre, London; the Music Hall at Guildhall School of Music and Drama; the new Costume Workshop for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Tara Theatre, where she first collaborated with Theatreplan.

For Theatreplan Anniek has been involved in a re-seating project at Hampstead Theatre, London; the refurbishment of the Kings Theatre, Edinburgh and a new-build lecture space at Trinity College Oxford.
