Senior Associate

Bosco Tan is the Principal Consultant at Bespokely, based in Sydney, Australia. He is an experienced project director, project manager and technical design consultant. Bosco is the driving force behind Bespokely’s focus on delivering tailored project services and high-quality design and is a Senior Associate in the region for Theatreplan.

Bosco works with clients to provide considered project leadership and technical design solutions. Over the past 18 years he has led various award-winning design, implementation, and management teams for large and complex technology projects both nationally and internationally, in the entertainment, culture, leisure and community sectors.

He is a qualified project manager, certified change manager and technology specialist.

His technical design experience is grounded in sound theoretical knowledge, mixed with real world practical on-site project delivery experience. Bosco believes that technology is a means to an end and that the conversation behind technology design should be primarily driven by user experience, functional requirements and operational outcomes all built on a foundation of a sustainable ecosystem.

Prior to starting Bespokely, Bosco was a founder and the Executive Director of Technology and Operations at Saber, where he led the multi-discipline design and implementation teams in Australia and the Middle East.

His recent projects include immersive theming for SeaWorld Leviathan roller coaster, multiple award-winning projects at the Sydney Opera House including the Concert Hall Renewal with Theatreplan, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, and the Sydney Modern Project.

In his spare time, you can find Bosco volunteering for the New South Wales State Emergency Service as a flood rescue technician.

What We Do
We provide the complete range of venue and auditorium planning, and technical design services, including lighting, sound, stage engineering,
AV, digital and communications. We cover all stages of a project, from feasibility and concept design, right through to construction and opening night.

We help design new spaces for performance, wherever live or digital content is shown and created, from concert halls and school theatres, to cinemas and motion capture studios. We also help refurbish historic theatres, and work with some of the world’s largest and most complex performance venues to upgrade their technical facilities.
