Peter Crockett
Stage Engineer
Peter joined Theatreplan in 2021 as a Stage Engineer and will be supporting the team on many of our most prestigious stage engineering projects.
Peter graduated in 2019 with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol. He subsequently worked with the Cotswold Canals Trust, providing engineering support for their successful £9M bid to Heritage Lottery Fund, where his work included undertaking risk analysis, providing engineering design solutions and producing option reports.
Prior to this Peter was involved in Project Velocity Research Lab at the University of Bristol, which is researching into optimisation of chain drives for the British Olympic Cycling Team.
In his spare time Peter is a keen maker and photographer, and has built his own handmade pinhole camera. He was drawn to the opportunity with Theatreplan as a way of combining his love of engineering with a strong desire to make a contribution to the arts. He is thrilled to be able to develop his skills whilst working on some of the world's leading venues within a dynamic team of like minded people.
Peter is currently working with Dave Ludlam on stage engineering solutions for the Royal Albert Hall and New Territories East Cultural Centre in Hong Kong.
